Family Turtle Walk

We’ve created these walks specifically with children in mind, so that they also get to experience this magical event. We can offer private excursions for just your family & friends or we can provide alterations to our excursions for any persons with additional needs or limited capabilities. We are happy to amend our existing excursions to try to accommodate your requirements.

Early in 2017 Explore Cape Verde partnered with TravelEyes to offer excursions to a group of partially sighted & blind persons. Offering more than your average tour, we visited many places on the island describing the sights, sounds and smells at each location and where they were coming from.

"My family and I (me, husband and 3 kids, 18,15 and 11) decided to go to Cape Verde mostly because of the Loggerhead turtles. We went on the Turtle watching evening trip, and as there are 5 of us, and 2 of our children have Aspergers (a form of autism) we had a private trip. Jonathan was extremely informative, answered all of my sons questions, and there were lots! We saw turtles laying their eggs, and the most amazing star gazing. He made everyone feel at ease, and we came away with far more knowledge than we ever could have expected.
