What to expect?

A fantastic chance to see sharks up close! Join our expert marine biologist guides on this very popular excursion as you learn all about Cape Verde’s famous lemon sharks. Enter the water and be surrounded by baby sharks in their natural habitat. Enjoy the thrill of the adult sharks swimming nearby. Fully licensed eco-tour. Part of proceeds donated directly to local shark conservation efforts in Cape Verde. Suitable for all ages.

Excursion length from pick-up to drop-off 2-3 hours (approx.)

What to bring?

  • Sunscreen (apply before the tour)

  • Swim wear or clothes you don't mind getting wet

  • Towel

  • Water shoes or 3€pp to rent some in Shark Bay

  • Hat

  • Sunglasses

  • Drinking water

Important note:

You will be wading into water to above your knees on rocky ground. If you have mobility issues or are unsteady walking, please inform us so we can provide extra assistance when getting into and out of the water.
